"Maybe they're more well-mannered ...

21 Estonians visiting Htx in Sisimiut. The roughly peers esters is at least more disciplined, recognize Ina and Karen Htx Sisimiut. The two nations are together in an exchange project

- I do not know if they are just more disciplined or whether they are more well behaved than us.
Karen Zeeb eyes linger over the ice at Scout Lake. She is inside the SSP's clubhouse Igloo together with some of her friends from HTX. Karen Zeeb third year Htx student, together with other Htx'ere visits by 21 esters, which is in Greenland on an exchange under the theme "Nature, climate and culture, above and below the Arctic Circle."
Ina Josefsen and Karen's fellow students have also visited Estonia in week 41, and now it Greenland.
- We have been spending a lot of time with the Estonians. When we were in Estonia we stayed home privately with the Estonian school, but here in Sisimiut many of us lives in the dorms. So part of the Estonians have lived in dormitory rooms, but of course also in the homes of students who live in private. We have been shaken well together. But there are huge differences in how we behave. Estonians are much more disciplined than we are, "says Ina.
This confirms the Estonians - Greenlanders are equal with their teacher. With us there is more authority. We can be a little envious of the Greenlanders, who also have young teachers, "smiles one of the esters.
A good English The purpose of the exchange is superior, learning to speak good English. Tasks that should tell something about the culture, for example, to investigate whether Estonian adolescents drink more than Greenland. Prices are low in Estonia, also the price of spirits and alcohol. If you are interested in reading about that, you can on the project website www.3-htx.weebly.com read the results of the study, which on leaving Sisimiut was ongoing.
- But of course it is interesting if young Estonians do not drink more than Greenlanders, although alcohol is much cheaper, "says teacher in third Htx, Jakob Møller Bach.
There are other projects that the students have involved. Among other sewage fitess culture, organizational sport after school and elementary school - does it live up to it's own ends?
It was also exciting to visit the forested Estonia with many white sand beaches, old-fashioned windmills - orchards and farms.
- And it is true. School teaching is much more disciplined than we are accustomed to, says Jacob Møller Bach.
- Yes, with us we will have more choices. We are helping to determine far more than the Estonians, who are accustomed to obeying orders without options, "says Ina.
Huge difference There are huge differences between the two cultures, climates and natures. While the Greenlanders, among much else enjoyed mud bath and chocolate massage and went to the pub when they visited Estonia, Estonians were on a dog sled and snowmobile. They should have been out by Solbakken and build an igloo they had to sleep in, but the weather was too unstable, and it stuck to Tøsebakken (Girl Bakken). Here the students toyed with snowboarding, alpine skiing, cross country and tubs, hired of Lars KS Olsen.
When students turned its nose toward home again, they had a tour of Ilulissat and Kangerlussuaq, which waited more interesting experiences.
